TheUnofficialVote.com
In the second half of 2008 we were approached by the owners of TheUnofficialVote.com about an interesting and topical project in the run-up to the US Presidential election.
The plan was to develop an online poll targeting non-US citizens to informally gauge how the rest of the world would vote, if they could, in the election.
As well being responsible for the visual design of the website, we developed the web application behind the site, that allowed users to vote as well as see the geographical breakdown of all the votes tallied on the site. We also worked with iSpello Project Management, who were responsible for the buzz marketing surrounding the project, to build the functionality needed to promote the site through various social networking sites.
With the entire project having been developed in under two weeks, the owners judged it to be a great success with thousands of users taking part from almost 50 countries around the globe.
